Paris Hilton Trip To Rwanda Postponed.

The Playing for Good Foundation, the foundation that links businesses and celebrities with charities benefiting children and families in need announced that Paris Hilton will not be going to Rwanda, at least not yet. The agency would only say they were restructuring, which was the reason of the postponed Rwanda visit.
It was founder Scott Lazerson who originally invited the heiress to make the visit and Hilton was looking forward to the trip. It would have marked her first major foray into the popular do-gooder gigs along with the likes of Angelina Jolie and others who lend their celebrity to causes.
Hilton told E! Online last month that she planned to visit the nation because there so much need in that area and she felt like she could bring more attention to what people could do to help, according to E Online.
After spending some 23 days in jail, the 26-year-old said she wanted to change her ways and act more like a grown-up. “I’m so much more grateful for everything that I have even just to have a pillow at night or food or anything…I don’t know,” Hilton said. “I just want to start using what I’ve been given by God to bring light to causes that I believe in.”
Paris Hilton has still been busy. She is involved in making a movie, she is beginning a new album and inked a deal with Antebi Footwear Group to launch a signature line of shoes and in August, she debuted her eponymous clothing line at celebrity shop spot Kitson in West Hollywood. The proceeds of the clothing line however did go to Los Angeles Children’s Hospital where she had spent time talking to children after her release from jail.
