Paula Abdul Ready to Have Children

Paula Abdul at 45 years-of-age says she is ready to have a child of her own and will be willing explore fertility options if necessary. “That is the next step in my life,” Abdul said according to ABC News. “Definitely within the next two years. I thought by now I’d have three grown children.”
Modern medicine has enabled many people above the usual natural child bearing years to have children in their 40’s and 50’s. Abdul said if it doesn’t happen, she would consider adopting.
What has Abdul in a nesting mood could be her 32 year-old Sicilian boyfriend of six months, J. T. Torregiani, who is a partner in The Dolce Group, which operates the trendy L.A. restaurants Dolce Geisha House, Les Deux, Bella, Ketchup and Ten Pin Alley. He is working with Eva Longoria on a Tex-Mex restaurant.
The two are not living together, but he does drive her places, cooks and even takes care of her dog, Tulip. Abdul said he pays so much attention to her she feels like a queen.
Abdul has been dating Torregiani for a while now and has become comfortable enough to tell her co-stars on Fox’s American Idol and friends about him. She has traveled with him to London and is planning a trip to Italy.
Torregiani met Abdul when he introduced himself to her at the Roosevelt after an Idol taping. They spoke for hours and began dating while the last season of Idol was winding down.
Paula Abdul had a turning point last season because she made a conscious decision to be very honest and said she had been too kind to contestants. Abdul was severely criticized for her ‘coddling’ of many of the contestants.
