Pop Princess Gives Birth

Britney Spears apparently dealt the media and gossip hounds another blow by delivering her baby nearly a month before her expected date of delivery.

Britney was quite eager to experience motherhood, but not the pain that comes first through childbirth.

Spears had told Elle magazine in an earlier interview that she was pretty sure she did not want to experience that part of the process, indicating that she would elect to have a c-section, which is exactly what she did on Wednesday, September 14, 2005

Baby Spears is a Boy
Britney Spears’ publicist, Leslis Sloan, had previously had a slip of the tongue that now appears to have been a ruse. When asked about the condition of Britney and the baby, after the hospital stay, she replied, “She’s OK. Mother and daughter are doing fine.”

Britney herself perpetrated and participated in the spoofing of the media by shopping for baby clothes and items a few weeks ago. Spears was first seen shopping for baby girls items and allowing herself to be seen and photographed. Later the same week, she went on an after-hours, somewhat secretive and private spending spree for baby boy clothing, items and furniture!

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline nonetheless presented the world with Preston Michael Spears Federline.
