Spears’ Momma Inked Deal To Dish The Dirt In Print
Friday, October 26, 2007
Just what will celebrity momma Lynne Spears say in her tell-all book, supposedly to be published in spring of 2008? Wait, rewind. Lynne Spears is publishing a tell all book? Something that juicy is sure to fly off the shelves of Barnes and Noble in a matter of minutes.
Lynne Spears joins the likes of other celebrities (or celebrities’ parents) signing book deals in return for fat cash – Paris Hilton published The Confessions of an Heiress in 2004, while her Simple Life co-star Nicole Richie penned the infamous “fictional” book The Truth About Diamonds.
Will Lynne spill all the juicy secrets about Brit’s two failed marriages, drug use, poor parenting skills and the truth behind her now-reconciled fallout with Britney? Possibly. A source from Publishers Marketplace tells People Magazine that the book will describe “Lynne Spears’ personal story of raising high-profile children while coming from a low-profile Louisiana community.”
Sources close to Lynne are wondering about the true motivations behind publishing a book about Britney and Jamie Lynn. They’re certain it’s not for the money, as Momma Spears seems to have plenty of it. Lynne’s driving force may be to out the truth behind her eldest daughter’s bizarre behavior and it may be the much needed first step to get Brit’s enablers to wake up and quit ignoring that the pop tart is in desperate need of some tough love.
Lynne will probably write a large portion of the book regarding the differences between raising Britney Spears, whose public profile is no less than notorious, and raising her younger daughter Jamie Lynn Spears who is also an actress but keeps a much lower profile.
If the tell-all page turner is supposed to be published next Spring, Momma Lynne Spears better get cracking! We’re sure that both Brit fans and haters will be quick to buy the book, if for nothing more than to get their hands on some good old celebrity dirt.
