Tori Spelling Welcomes Baby

Tori Spelling gave birth to her first child Tuesday. A son, Liam Aaron McDermott, was born in a Los Angeles hospital. He weighs 6 lbs, 6 ozs.  Liam Aaron gets part of his name from Tori’s late father, famous producer Aaron Spelling.  The baby’s nursery is decorated in the colors turquoise and chocolate.

This is the first child for Tori and her actor husband Dean McDermott.  Dean has another child, a son age 8, with his first wife.  Tori and Dean met in the summer of 2005 while filming the movie, Mind Over Murder. They soon fell in love and married in Fuji last year.

Tori has told reporters that she loved being pregnant but that she couldn’t wait to hold her baby in her arms, “I am ready, ready, ready to meet my little man”.

It appears that the birth of little Liam Aaron is just the thing that was needed to heal Tori’s broken relationship with her mother, Candy Spelling. Candy was spotted at the hospital cooing at her new grandson. Candy told reporters, “Words can’t describe the joy and elation I feel at this truly happy event. I am looking forward to doting on my new little grandson and all the memorable fun that comes with it.” Also at the hospital was Tori’s brother, Randy, who had this to say, “I’m excited to be a first-time uncle and wish my sister all the best.”

Tori and Dean will have more than enough to keep them busy. They recently renovated a bed and breakfast, Chateau La Rue, which is about 100 miles outside of Los Angeles. Named after Tori’s pug Mimi La Rue, her bed and breakfast is decorated in modern art and features themed events and outdoor movies.  Tori, Dean, Chateau La Rue, and (maybe) baby Liam can be seen in the reality series Tori and Dean: Inn Love; which premieres on the Oxygen network on March 20th.
