Why Is Teri Hatcher Mixing In Presidential Circles?

While many Hollywood “A” listers like to mix in similar circles, it appears that Teri Hatcher has higher hopes as she confirms her friendship with Ex-US President George Bush Senior.  The star of “Desperate Housewives” was recently seen lunching with Bush Senior, a move which set the Hollywood rumor mill in full flow!

Even though Bush Senior is 82 years young, it still seems that he has a sparkle in his eye, with witnesses commenting about his cheeky kiss on leaving the table, as well as his naughty pat on the derrière of Ms Hatcher.  It appears that Ms Hatcher and Bush Senior have similar charitable hopes, and are looking into the possibility of joining forces with Ex-President Bill Clinton.

How life has changed for the ex-star of The Adventures of Superman, who left it late to move into the “A” list of Hollywood.  Her accident prone character on Desperate Housewives has become one of the shows favorites, with Ms Hatcher receiving much acclaim for her acting in the show.  While Terri is best known for Superman and Desperate Housewives, she has also appeared in a number of other well know shows including James Bond : Tomorrow Never Dies, Star Trek : The Next Generation, MacGyver, Spy Kids and 2 Days in the Valley.

Ms Hatcher’s personal life has been anything but successful, with claims of abuse in her childhood and two failed marriages behind her.  She has been romantically linked with George Clooney, although she claims there was only ever one date, and nothing happened. 

These days it seems that Ms Hatcher is happy to spend time at home with her daughter Emerson, and concentrate on her acting and charitable activities.  While she is one of the most sought after ladies on the planet (having been named the worlds sexiest lady by FHM magazine readers in 1997) it appears that she may be turning to the older man for comfort - or does she have political ambitions?
