Ellen DeGeneres Decides to Honor Writer’s Strike

I guess persistence and the blasting of talk-show hosts who dare cross the picket line will eventually change their minds if they know what is good for them. Ellen DeGeneres was planning on moving her talk show to New York to continue her show without a monologue. She has since backed out of the planned move to New York next week due to the back lash and the cancellation of one guest in protest.

Geez, just what does it take to get work done when some people make it impossible by not going to work unless they get paid more. Well, you do without.
This is what Ellen DeGeneres did during the fifth full day Nov 9 of the Writers Guild of America’s walkout and they are not too happy with it.
DeGeneres took Nov.5 off but then decided to continue to tape the talk show, albeit without a monologue and was back on the air Nov. 9 and had to watch the outpouring of dismay… More ...

Ellen DeGeneres is known for her love of animals, but she managed to annoy the Mutts and Moms rescue agency in Pasadena. Evidently Ellen gave the dog to her hairdresser and her daughters.
The problem is when DeGeneres picked up the dog at Mutts and Moms; she signed a form stating she would not give the animal away unless the owners were notified. Owners Marina Batkis and Vanessa Chekroun run the non-profit Mutts and Moms out of their store Paws Boutique and are adamant that no animals go to anyone with children younger than 14.
