J.K.Rowling Files Lawsuit

J.K. Rowling, the prolific author of the Harry Potter series is in the news again after outing Dumbledore, one of the main characters as gay October 19, now has filed a federal lawsuit against a Michigan publisher to block the release of a book compiled from the information found on the Harry Potter Lexicon Web site. The Web site is an encyclopedic guide to the billion–dollar grossing wizard created by Rowling over the past decade according to E! Online.
Evidently the Michigan publisher planned to write a 400-page Harry Potter Lexicon and Rowling’s thinks that would infringe… More ...

J.K. Rowling, the author of the seven books on Harry Potter the boy wizard, has turned her pen to crime. Crime stories that is. Rowling has been seen writing in Edinburgh cafes, a habit she picked up when she was a single mother on the dole writing the Harry Potter stories in café’s to save on heating at her home.
J.K. Rowling is now one of the richest women in England according to Forbes and is worth about one billion dollars. Her Harry Potter series sold more than 335 million copies world-wide.

Rowling has been tight lipped about the whole release of the seventh installment of the Harry Potter book. So many kids are asking the question, “Will Harry die?” But to find out you will have to read the book.
