Kelis Arrested and Released on Bail

Hip hop artist, Kelis, was arrested in Miami, Florida over the weekend. Miami police say that she interrupted an undercover police operation, charged at two undercover cops posing as prostitutes, and screamed a slew of racial profanities at the two women police officers.
The official Miami police report states that Kelis Rogers - Jones (age 27) was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest without violence. The entertainer was later released on a $1,500 bail bond, according to a Miami-Dade county spokesperson.
