Female celebrity Natalie Portman, has launched a new campaign to provide life changing loans to women in the world’s poorest countries. Portman’s launch to fame with the Star Wars triology hasn’t put her head in the clouds. Despite a comfortable background before her thriving acting career, Portman has stayed grounded and informed about world affairs. While she could be counting cash from her starring movie roles, modeling and other high profiled and well compensated jobs, Natalie Portman is working to help others, specifically the impoverished.

Portman to Direct an Israeli Film

Rumors that Natalie Portman is to play in the fourth Indiana Jones movie persist as the start date for the film’s shooting has been revealed to be June of this year. Nonetheless, this year, Portman is following the precedent she set in 2005 when she worked with Israeli director Amos Gital in “Free Zone,” only this time around, she’s directing as well as acting.
