O’Donnell Turns Down Oprah Winfrey Show

Rosie O’Donnell, who is currently promoting her new autobiography, has opted for a television interview with ABC anchor Diane Sawyer, despite being offered a high profile slot on The Oprah Winfrey Show, it has emerged.
A source close to O’Donnell told the New York Daily Post: “She’s doing an interview with Diane Sawyer instead. Rosie has always been booked with Diane. We gracefully declined Oprah’s offer. I’m sure Rosie will do Oprah’s show another time.”

Rosie O’Donnell isn’t on ‘The View’ anymore, but that doesn’t stop her from verbally blasting someone. This time it’s not the Donald, but Paula Abdul…again.
The ‘American Idol’ star was blasted in O’Donnell’s blog, which was written in her usual haiku style when she posted a rant in reference to Abdul’s reality show, Hey, Paula and accuses the star as being “broken, fragile, pain-filled, loveless, desperate, raw, vulnerable and so needy for love.”

A few of us were surprised and many were not at hearing that Rosie O’Donnell is leaving the television show, The View, officially in mid-June this year. This popular daytime chat show has provided a lot of entertainment for viewers worldwide, and much of its popularity is due to Rosie’s exuberant personality as co-host and moderator of the panel. While Rosie O’Donnell has built a career on bashing fellow “celebrities”, she may have over stepped the mark with her recent unprovoked attack on Anna Nicole Smith. The Hollywood loud mouth was on TV just hours prior to the tragic death of Smith, and issued a statement which did little to hide her contempt for the former Playboy Model and multi-millionaire.

Rosie O’Donnell has never been known to not speak her mind and she did not hesitate this time either. Rosie co-hosts the very popular television show “The View,” which airs in the United States on Wednesday mornings on ABC.
